Terms and Conditions


Limited Workmanship and Servicing Warranty

This labor warranty is provided by Emilio Flooring Solutions to you, the original consumer purchaser (“Owner”).

Please consult the applicable product and manufacturer warranties for coverage on materials purchased in connection with Emilio Flooring Solutions’ services. Manufacturer warranties are available for inspection prior to signing a sales agreement or purchase order.


What’s Covered (In Simple Terms)

We take pride in our craftsmanship. If something goes wrong due to how we installed your flooring—not because of the product itself or how it’s used—we’ll make it right.

Examples of covered issues include:

  • Flooring planks coming loose

  • Lifting, bubbles, or seam separation

  • Uneven transitions between flooring areas

  • Gaps or visible flaws caused by poor installation

  • Poorly cut edges around walls, doorways, or trims

  • Misaligned patterns in vinyl or tile layouts

  • Squeaky or hollow-sounding spots caused by improper subfloor prep

  • Grout cracking or separating on newly (6 month old) installed tile (due to installer error)

  • T-molding or transitions coming off

  • Quarter round or baseboards not secured properly during install

  • Incorrect adhesive application resulting in loose flooring

  • Improper leveling or failure to address dips or slopes during install


Warranty Coverage by Flooring Type

  • Hardwood Flooring Installation: 2-Year Workmanship Warranty

  • Ceramic / Porcelain Tile Installation: 4-Year Workmanship Warranty

  • Other Flooring Types (e.g., carpet, vinyl, laminate, wood refinish, linoleum): 1-Year Workmanship Warranty

All installations are performed using quality materials and in compliance with local building code standards. Please ensure proper ventilation for at least 48 hours after installation to avoid sensitivities to material fumes or odors.


How to Obtain Warranty Service

To request warranty service:

  1. Call Emilio Flooring at 903-806-6623

  2. Submit your claim within the applicable warranty period

  3. We will inspect the installation site within a reasonable timeframe

  4. If we determine the issue qualifies under warranty, we will:

    • Repair, reinstall, or re-perform the service, or

    • Refund the purchase price—at our discretion

If a replacement product is needed and no longer available, we reserve the right to substitute with one of equal quality. Replacing a product does not restart the warranty period.

⚠️ If a refund is issued, all warranties are terminated. The owner assumes full responsibility for future repairs, replacements, or removal of the products.

Warranty claims are only valid if the full contract amount has been paid. Non-warranty service calls may result in a service fee.


What Is Not Covered

This warranty applies only to services performed by Emilio Flooring or its authorized contractors. It is not transferable and becomes void if the home is sold.

We do not cover:

  • Materials not purchased from Emilio Flooring

  • Any product defects (refer to the manufacturer’s warranty)

  • Issues caused by external events, including:

    • Water damage

    • Fire or smoke

    • Flooding

    • Pets (scratches, urine, etc.)

    • Chemicals or cleaning agents

    • Structural movement or settling

    • Acts of God (storms, earthquakes, lightning, etc.)

  • Normal wear and tear, including fading, dents, or cosmetic changes

  • Damage caused by improper maintenance, such as:

    • Using non-approved cleaners

    • Failure to keep area climate-controlled (e.g., excess humidity or dryness)

  • Damage caused by third-party work, including:

    • Repairs

    • Reinstallation

    • Moving or tampering with installed products

  • Installations over problematic subfloors, including:

    • Moisture issues

    • Cracks

    • Squeaky or uneven foundations

  • Hazardous or environmental factors, such as:

    • Mold or mildew

    • Asbestos

    • Lead paint

    • Pest infestations

  • Improper furniture use, including:

    • Dragging heavy items without protection

    • Rolling chairs without proper floor mats

  • Damage from household appliances, like refrigerators or washing machines leaking after install

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications performed after installation

  • Delayed damage reporting—claims submitted long after issues became visible and worsened

  • Excessive foot traffic from commercial or industrial use if flooring was sold for residential use


What Voids the Warranty

Any work—including painting, adjustment, removal, or re-installation—performed by anyone other than Emilio Flooring or its authorized contractors will void the warranty.


Legal Disclaimer

These workmanship warranties are the only express warranties offered by Emilio Flooring. No employee, agent, or representative is authorized to modify these terms.

Emilio Flooring disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific job covered by the warranty.
Some states may not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages—therefore, these limitations may not apply to you.

You may have additional rights depending on your state.


Return Policy

90-Day Return Guarantee

If you're not fully satisfied with your product, you may return it within 90 days with a valid receipt.

Conditions:

  • Items must be undamaged and in resalable condition

  • Returns over $500 (paid in cash/check) will be refunded by mail

  • Returns without a receipt or after 90 days may be refunded as store credit

  • Installed items cannot be returned

Use of a product constitutes acceptance. Please inspect all items before installation.


Special Orders

  • May be canceled before shipping for a full refund

  • After shipping, customer is responsible for all shipping costs

  • Non-custom items may be returned to our warehouse

  • Contact 903-806-6623 for return instructions


Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Do not refuse shipments. If damaged or lost, contact us immediately

  • Call 903-806-6623 for assistance


How to Start a Return

Email emilioflooringsolutions@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. If accepted, we will send a return shipping label and instructions.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.


Installed Merchandise Policy

Inspect all items at pickup. You are responsible for verifying:

  • Product type, color, model, and size

  • Dye lots for ceramic and porcelain products

  • That all items meet your project requirements before leaving the store

Installed flooring is considered accepted and cannot be returned. Emilio Flooring is not responsible for work done by third-party installers.


Furniture Moving Policy

  • Please remove personal items, décor, and valuables in advance

  • Our crew will move standard furniture only—not fragile or oversized items (e.g., pianos, aquariums)

  • Disconnect electronics prior to installation

  • Emilio Flooring is not responsible for small damages, lost items, or extra moving requests (may incur a fee)


Cancellation Policy

  • A 50% deposit is required to book a job

  • Cancellations must be submitted by phone, email, or in person

  • If you cancel after placing the deposit, a $199 cancellation & administration fee applies

  • No refunds are issued on the scheduled day of the job or afterward


Military Discount Program

Emilio Flooring offers a 10% discount on full-priced products to eligible service members and their spouses.

Eligible Parties:

  • Active duty or retired military (including NOAA, USPHS, and National Guard)

  • Spouses (must enroll separately if last name differs)

Exclusions:

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Installations, rentals, gift cards, or services

  • Lumber, OSB, and plywood

  • Cannot be combined with other discounts

The offer is non-transferable.

We reserve the right to revise or revoke the program at any time. Misuse (e.g., allowing unauthorized individuals to use the discount) may result in disqualification.
